 On this page we have tried to answer as many of the questions you might have about HollowaySports.co.uk as we can. If there is anything we have not covered here that you would like to ask, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Ordering with HollowaySports.co.uk
As you browse through the online catalogue you will navigate through categories and sub categories and once you have found a product you wish to order (you may also search for a product using our search facility on any page), click on the "more info >>" link and you will be taken to the page where you may choose the quantity/size/colour etc. for the product and then click "Add".
This will add the chosen item/s to your shopping basket. You can add/edit/delete more items/products to/from your shopping basket at any time before placing your order.
Once you have finished selecting items you can view your shopping basket contents by clicking on the "View Basket" link under "My Account". You can also save your shopping basket, and hence save all the items in it, and retrieve it at another time, by clicking on the "Save Basket" link under "My Account".
Once you have finished adding items to your shopping basket you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the "Checkout" link under "My Account" or on the shopping basket page. This will take you to a page prompting you to select a shipping country to deliver the goods to and at this stage will also determine whether you have shopped with us before by giving you the opportunity to enter a customer code.
If you are a first time shopper with HollowaySports.co.uk, after you have filled in your details and placed your order you will be issued with a customer code for future use.
Forgotten your customer code?
When you are placing an order and have proceeded to checkout, you will be placed on a page headed "Destination of Goods" and on this page you are prompted to enter a customer code which is an alpha numeric code that you will have been issued when you placed your first order with us. If you have forgotten or lost this code then you are required to enter the email address you used when you placed your first order with us, at the bottom of this same page and your customer code will be sent to that email address.
If you have lost a basket name/password that you are trying to recover, then please email us at info@HollowaySports.co.uk.
How to pay online
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch and JCB. Sorry, but at present, we cannot accept American Express or any other cards. We will require payment before we can despatch your order.
Follow these easy steps to pay:
Once you have entered your email address and customer code (if you have one) you will be taken to the first page of the ordering process which will ask you for a billing address (BILLING ADDRESS MUST BE THE SAME AS THE ADDRESS YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAVE), a shipping address and other details.
You are then prompted to click on "Make the order" which will give you an order number, a customer code which will be the same as your original one (if you have one) and will notify you that you will be entering a WorldPay Secure Area to enter your Credit Card details to pay for and place the order.
DO NOT EVER ENTER CREDIT CARD DETAILS IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE SMALL PADLOCK ICON IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE BROWSER (NEXT TO THE ICON OF THE GLOBE).
On the following pages you will be required to enter your card number and card details etc. and then once you are sure they are entered correctly, click on "MAKE PAYMENT" to complete your order with us and sit back and wait for your goods to be delivered.
Ordering or paying by post or phone
We are able to take orders by phone or post. To order by phone you will be required to provide together with all items required, a valid credit card number registered to you and all other details concerning the card plus a delivery address. To order by post you will be required to pay by cheque and again provide all the details of the order, your personal details as the person placing the order plus the delivery address. We despatch goods on clearance of cheque.
How are my parcels delivered?
We use a 3rd party carrier to deliver your orders. If the carrier cannot make a secure delivery they will leave a card telling you where the parcel is or ask you to arrange a convenient delivery date. Please let us know via the contact us section if you have a safe place where the carrier can leave your parcel if you are out.
What if my item is out of stock?
Sometimes an item goes out of stock while you are ordering it and therefore the delivery time listed with the product becomes out of date.
If your item is out of stock, we will hold your order until stock is delivered to us. Your order will then be immediately sent to you. We will notify you by e-mail should this be the case.
If the order takes longer than 28 days to fulfill, we will refund you the amount of the undelivered item. We will notify you by e-mail when we are unable to supply an item.
How long will it take my order to arrive?
Each product listed in our catalogue is listed with a delivery time that is usually met but in rare cases the item goes out of stock while you are ordering and in these cases we will notify you immediately.
Please note: If you have ordered more than 1 item, we will send the entire order in one parcel. Your order may be delayed if any of the items is out of stock or has a later delivery time than the others in the order. If you require a product in advance of the others, please place it as a separate order.
What should I do if my order has not arrived?
If you do not hear from us regarding an order cancellation, and your order has not arrived after 28 days, please contact us either via the contact us page or by calling customer services on 020 8886 0606.
Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are calculated on the value of an order so to get an idea of what an item costs you to be delivered, we invite you to simulate an order on our website.
Returns and refunds
We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from HollowaySports.co.uk. So if, for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return it within 14 days of delivery, unused in its original packaging together with the receipt, to any Holloway Sports store or we can arrange collection free of charge*. We'll exchange it or offer you a full refund and that's guaranteed!
Some products are excluded from the 14 Day Money Back Guarantee. These products are items that are personalised or made to your specification, items that have a date to them such as perishables, magazines or periodicals and items that cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons such as earrings or cosmetics. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Cancellations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed; items such as earrings and cosmetics that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons; perishable goods (e.g. food and flowers) and periodicals/magazines.
To cancel you can email us, or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the items and must not use them. Items may be returned to an Holloway Sports store or we can arrange collection free of charge*.
*Postage costs for any item returned are your responsibility unless the item is being returned because it is faulty or not what was ordered. If this is the case, please contact us on 0208 886 0606 and we will arrange for collection free of charge. If this is not the case you can deliver the item in person to any Holloway Sports store to avoid incurring postage costs.
